King Orchard
King Orchard is a Louisiana native who now finds himself setting new roots in the great Rocky Mountain state of Colorado. His music is infused with the influences of such singer-songwriters such as James Taylor, Paul Simon, and Bob Dylan, as well as the pop-country greats of the 1960's, like the Everly Brothers and Ricky Nelson. Carefully crafted melodies support a string of wonderfully nostalgic lyrics with a backbone of fun, articulate, energic guitar playing. A Rocky Mountain high settled into the low lying swamps of the American South.

Caden Wilson
Born and raised in Haughton, LA. Caden grew up singing in church with his mom. It was during Covid that Caden picked a guitar because he was bored. He taught himself to play from youtube videos and learned that playing came very natural to him. Shortly after, he found his voice. Innovative Music Group found him on social media and booked him for a show to see how he performed on stage. 'Caden is a natural talent. A lot of artists today can sing behind a phone but not in front of a large crowd. So we added him to the Florida Country Music Fest lineup in Sep of 2023 and he did an incredible job of working the crowd to only be 19 yrs old at the time'- CEO of Innovative. After that, Innovative then paired Caden up with Bill McDermott at Omni Studios to find the purest country sound they could for Caden and the rest is history. Caden's first album 'Caden Country' will be dropping this fall.
Wood Carver
Micah McKinney has been chainsaw carving for about 5 years. He was introduced to it one weekend while visiting a friend in Texas. He started out carving a feather and was then challenged to carve a bear. Once he was finished with that, he had found a new hobby and he "was hooked"!
Before long he started carving more regularly. Last spring, he sold his house and moved to family land in Cass County to be able to carve full time. One perk of moving to family land is there are "lots of trees"!
The Lumberjack Festival is happy to have Micah with us this year. He will be bringing some of his pieces that he has carved and will have them for you to look at and for sale if you are interested. He will be doing his first show on Saturday morning, October 8 at 11:00 am.
Look for Micah to be set up outside next to the CAC Building! Bring your lawn chair and watch the whole show!
"I am excited to be coming to Springhill for the festival! I am happy to be given this opportunity!" ~~ Micah
